I just looooooooooooove their fights... just cuz it's such a juxtaposition.... They're such dualities of each other which is totally cool. This is why---despite my disappointment in Zuko's date---I think the creators have not forgotten their possible chemistry. Katara/Aang is ok...If by some crazy Avatar magic he grows to look 16 rather than 12. But ZUTARA all the wayyyyy!
Jin's alright in my book, and if she had been introduced wayyy earlier in the series, I would have probably loved her to pieces (and I still love her 5 gagillion times better than Mai). But I've grown attached to the kick ass waterbender and I love the whole Fire/Water opposites...the endless hints for their interaction...Bryan and Mike's "shipping" teasers (comicon, AND the Nick Mag)... IT WILL HAPPEN! By some miracle, or insane circumstance...or the creators going on crack... THEY WILL HAPPEN DAMMIT! ...I need sleep... Seriously... So here's a zutara fight doodle. I actually really like the movement in this one. I was going to draw a background but then I really like the simplicity in the figures, so I didn't want to tamper with it too much. I really hope they do another fight before they become allies or something...cuz they're fights have been some of the best so far. for zutara-shippers who still live. Tally-ho. |

I have to agree with your opinion on Aang... he's got far too many childish traits, which is why I likely only kept "so-so" to the idea of Kataang.
I don't know why, but I always thought it to better when the man is older than the girl.
Don't know why...
And no offense to Aang, but even with the scar, Zuko is a lot more of the looker.
Again about Jin, it's true that through their date, it seemed to go a little quick - but then, she was the one who did most of the "moving" than Zuko, who nervously kept up with her.
Bless that firebender's soul!
If the Zutara pairing actually happened in the series, I'd be somewhat amused if Jin was caught up in the situation and huffed in Katara's direction.
Maybe ironically use Meng's quote:
"...Floozy.."
Whether through the short appearance she had that the quote could consider making her OOC, who cares, she seems to be a small role so far anyway...
